Modern Entrance Garden & Pathway

Every villa has a space that gets overlooked, and it is usually the side garden. On this project we decided that the walk from the front entrance to the rear seating area should be a moment in itself, not just a route. So we built the whole design around a single strong axis: a line of large white stone slabs that appears to float on a ribbon of green, drawing you naturally from the front door toward the pergola at the far end.

The materials do the quiet work here. Warm white paving against a rich green lawn, a slim strip of artificial turf between every slab, and smooth concrete edging that keeps every line crisp. We kept the palette deliberately small because the villa's minimalist facade deserved a garden that complements it rather than competes with it. Artificial grass was the practical choice too, as it keeps the space looking immaculate through a Dubai summer with almost no water and no mowing.

The planting brings the softness. A mature date palm anchors the composition, frangipani trees add their sculptural branches overhead, and dense flowering shrubs form a living privacy screen along the boundary. Underneath, broad-leaf tropicals and fern-like groundcover spill gently over the pathway edges so the geometry never feels cold.

At the end of the walk, a black aluminium pergola shelters a contemporary lounge: outdoor sofa, lounge chairs and a coffee table, backed by privacy planting. In the late afternoon the sunlight filters through the palms and lands warm on the white stone. That golden-hour moment is exactly what we designed this garden for.
