Arched Pavilion & Spa Pool

This project is about what happens after dark. The centrepiece is an elegant pavilion with arched openings, a deliberate departure from the hard rectangles most modern villas default to. Under its roof sit a lounge and a dining area, and set into the feature wall between them, a modern fireplace that gives the space a focal point you simply do not expect to find in a garden.

Directly in front, the swimming pool runs up to the pavilion with a raised spa section, so the move from water to warmth is a few steps. The arrangement makes the pavilion and pool feel like one continuous room, half in the open air.

We designed the lighting as carefully as the structure. Warm integrated light washes the columns and the fireplace wall, and at night the whole pavilion glows like a lantern above the water. We rendered the scheme in both daylight and darkness because this space genuinely has two personalities: bright and open at noon, intimate and golden by night.
